Horse Basics Workshop Saturday, May 22 in Shelburne

Girl Scouts of Central & Western Massachusetts Council is offering a Horse Basics workshop for Brownie, Junior, Cadette, Senior & Ambassador Scouts at Biscuit Hill Farm in Shelburne on Saturday, May 22 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Juliette Scouts in grades 2-12 may also register.
Workshop details: Learn about grooming, leading, safety, equine behavior, tacking up and more in this half-day workshop at Biscuit Hill Farm in Shelburne.
This will be a chance to work towards your horse related badges or to just have fun and learn about horses and then get a chance to ride one.
Be sure to wear hard sole shoes.
Helmets will be provided for any participants that do not own one.
Spend the morning at a horse farm!
Troops and individual Scouts may register. Safety-wise rules apply to Troops. Individual Scouts must attend with an adult.

Registration cost is $22 per Scout.
Registration will end on April 30 or when 22 Scouts have registered.
